About the Role:

They are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in Taupō.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience preparing and managing documentation, including daily diaries, QA checklists, ITPs, RFIs, RFVs, and progress reports.

They will also have a strong understanding of construction methods, the ability to provide in-put into planning and scheduling work, sound financial acumen, and a commitment to ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Set out site boundaries, structures, and levels
  • Interpret and apply construction drawings and specifications
  • Oversee daily site activities and monitor progress
  • Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with quality and design standards
  • Assist with planning and task coordination
  • Manage site documentation: diaries, QA checklists, ITPs, RFIs, RFVs, and progress reports
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure health and safety compliance
  • Resolve technical and construction issues on site
  • Support the wider project delivery team
To Be Considered:
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer on relevant New Zealand projects
  • NZ work rights are essential
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
