The Role
The Property Manager – Retail role at Commercial Bay works closely with the Centre Manager to assist with the day-to-day management of Commercial Bay, including retailer relationships, leasing, lease administration and compliance, reporting and assisting the wider Centre Management team.

The Role
The Property Manager – Retail role at Commercial Bay works closely with the Centre Manager to assist with the day-to-day management of Commercial Bay, including retailer relationships, leasing, lease administration and compliance, reporting and assisting the wider Centre Management team.
The responsibilities under this role may include but are not limited to the following:
- Developing a close working relationship with the Centre Manager as well as assisting the wider Centre Management team across all aspects of the business, particularly driving leasing leads and transactions across new retailers and retaining existing retailers.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with our retail clients and providing a high level of service.
- Assisting to coordinate and liaise with external consultants and contractors such as leasing agents, designers, project managers and tenancy coordination.
- Assisting on the leasing strategy and retail mix and keeping across retail and market trends.
- Assisting with the leasing process including coordinating lease documentation and liaising with leasing agents.
- Assisting on the tenancy delivery and coordination process for new retail stores.
- Assisting to coordinate rent reviews, lease expiries, renewals and maintaining the tenancy schedule.
- Assisting with capital expenditure, retail fitouts and development/ad hoc projects for the asset.
In order to fulfil the duties of the role, the preferred candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Tertiary qualification, ideally in property/commerce or business
- 2-3 years’ experience within property, preferably with strong knowledge of best practice property management and some retail exposure
- Strong customer service ethic and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication
