Our client specialises in the delivery of three waters systems. From pipelines to large civil structures, they have played a huge part in constructing and maintaining infrastructure that is critical to our community’s livelihood.
About the role:
They have an opportunity for a Senior Estimator with solid experience providing accurate estimates for projects involving heavy civils, civil structures, and utilities across the three waters space.
An ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder, have a keen eye for detail, and possess an accurate understanding of material and labour costs in the current market.

Duties:
• Prepare Detailed Cost Estimates
• Analyse Project Plans and Specifications
• Value Engineering and Cost Optimisation
• Client and Stakeholder Liaison
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation
• Bid Preparation and Submission
• Cost Database Maintenance and Benchmarking
• Post-Tender Review and Handover
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying (or other relevant tertiary qualifications)
• NZ experience and work rights are essential
• A minimum of five years’ experience working on three waters, heavy civils, and civil structures projects
