Job description

The Dilworth Trust Board is one of New Zealand's largest charities and provides the funding to support its sole beneficiary, Dilworth School. 
  
Dilworth’s wider investment portfolio funds the organisation’s purpose of educating boys from families of good character in straightened circumstances. Investment property comprises a major proportion of the investment portfolio and the net rental return generated from investment property substantially funds the operations of Dilworth School.
  
The investment property strategy focuses, in order of priority, on providing:  
1) Consistent, sustainable annual income growth;  
2) Capital protection; and  
3) Long term capital growth. 
  
The Role 
  
The Property Manager will manage and administer an existing portfolio of diverse property assets located in the Auckland region.  You will ensure the optimal long-term performance through optimisation of occupancy and lease terms, ensuring net rental returns and capital growth are maximised, robust asset maintenance and ensuring the properties comply with all local body, government, and statutory requirements.
  
Working closely with the Asset Manager, General Manager Property and the wider property team, you will be contributing across all investment aspects including, acquisitions, divestments, lease negotiations, key stakeholder management and development opportunities.
  
The Person 
  
In addition to 2+ years’ commercial property management experience, you will have strong commercial and financial acumen, exceptional negotiating skills, and advanced Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ideally with experience in Yardi. You’re passionate about the property industry, have a continuous improvement mindset and a strong Health and Safety focus.
