The Role

In this role, you’ll be focused on infrastructure projects - the kind that forms the backbone of a community. Managing projects from concept through to completion while working closely with a range of stakeholders to ensure delivery on time and within budget. You’ll also benefit from strong opportunities for growth and mentorship from some of the best in the industry.
  
This role will see you working across council-led projects throughout Otago, primarily within the three waters sector. To succeed, you’ll need proven experience in water supply, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 4 years + of previous experience as a Civil Engineer or Project Manager
  • Relevant qualification in engineering, construction or building science
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently, diligent and with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in delivering a range of infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Client facing experience and comfortable with running meetings.
  • Positively contribute to the internal team and seek to add value.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
