The role
An opportunity for a skilled and proactive Project Administrator to support a significant multi-year initiative aimed at addressing the weathertightness of school buildings across New Zealand. This program, which began in 2018, is now focused on the construction phase, with over 220 projects in progress and work expected to continue for the next 2–3 years.
Working as part of a dedicated team of five and supported by four external project management consultancies, you will be the glue that ensures seamless operations. Your role will involve processing variations, orders, invoices, tenders, and documentation with precision and efficiency. Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be key as you help maintain the momentum of this important initiative.
This position offers a 38-hour work week and is initially authorized for six months, with a strong likelihood of extension through the program's duration. You will report to a highly experienced Programme Manager with a strong background in building and a collaborative leadership style.
