The Role
Due to internal growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager position within this leading consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team that is making a significant impact in the programme management space and you will get to be a part of that journey while working with some of New Zealand's top clients. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the success of this service line and working with clients to achieve successful outcomes.

This role will be responsible for
  • Establishing programme level controls, systems and procedures
  • Planning & designing the programme, monitoring its progress, resolving issues and taking appropriate actions 
  • Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme
  • Managing the programme's budget
  • Working with multiple stakeholders
  • Managing risk to the programme's successful outcome
  • Reporting outcomes and coming up with solutions 
You will add value by delivering successful outcomes, driving team performance and applying strategic thinking to improve systems, processes and decision making.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Relevant qualification in construction, building science or engineering 
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently, diligent and with an eye for detail
  • Specific Programme/Portfolio Management experience
  • Working knowledge of PPM software's, platforms and processes
  • 8 years + Programme Management and/or Senior Project Manager experience 
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
