Job description

Health & Safety Project Administrator
Auckland | Permanent or Part-Time (3–4 Days a Week Option)
Our client is a long-established and highly respected construction company with over 80 years of successful project delivery behind them. Known for their strong family values, trust, and commitment to building enduring relationships, they now have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Project Administrator to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating safe work environments. Around 75% of your responsibilities will centre on Health and Safety — supporting incident investigations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and helping to maintain a positive safety culture that genuinely puts people first. The other 25% will involve assisting with general project administration to help deliver outstanding results.

They pride themselves on doing things the right way — treating people fairly, working collaboratively, and fostering innovation in the way they operate. They have a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and the wellbeing of their team and wider communities.

What we're looking for:
  • Solid Health and Safety experience, ideally within the construction industry
  • Relevant training in investigations and a good understanding of NZ H+S regulations
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail
  • A practical, positive approach and great communication skills across all levels
  • Someone who genuinely cares about safety, quality, and teamwork
Our client is flexible and happy to consider either a full-time permanent role or part-time (3–4 days a week) for the right person.
If you want to be part of a company that values integrity, loyalty, and high standards — and that truly walks the talk when it comes to health, safety, and the environment — we’d love to hear from you.
