Job description

A leading residential developer is currently looking to bring on a Site based Project Manager to oversee multiple large scale apartment projects based in Auckland. 

This current project portfolio is steadily growing, and you will be working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders managing the construction process on site and managing the project programme and that all contractors and sub-contractors are working to timeframes set.

Other responsibilities will include: 
  • Managing and undertaking site establishment.
  • Day to day management of construction team members on site.
  • Managing the Schedule to Programme.
  • Co-ordination of trades and materials.
  • Ensure that all quality control and health and safety is adhered to at all times.
  • Providing up to date information for the Construction Manager and internal development team on progress. 
  • Managing Quality Assurance and Health & Safety.
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity the ideal candidate will have significant experience as a site manager on residential or commercial projects.

Additionally you will have:
  • Trade Certificate or tertiary qualification related to construction. 
  • Previous site management experience either within a contractor/builder environment is preferable.
  • Either current or previous commercial construction experience. 
  • Skilled in OH&S and industrial relations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Complete comfort interfacing and managing all stakeholders including, contractors and consultancy partners.
