About the role
As the Leasing Executive you will be instrumental in delivering high‑quality retail leasing outcomes that support Tauranga Crossing’s commercial performance, long‑term asset value, and strategic positioning within the Bay of Plenty region.
- Support the development and delivery of leasing strategies to optimise tenant mix and drive performance across Tauranga Crossing
- Identify and negotiate with prospective retailers, managing the leasing process from initial discussions through to documentation and deal approval
- Contribute to leasing budgets, income forecasting and broader asset planning to support the centre’s financial performance
- Monitor tenant performance and proactively identify opportunities for tenancy remix and value creation
- Build strong relationships with retailers, leasing agents and internal stakeholders while maintaining a close understanding of the centre’s day to day operations
To ensure your success in this role, you will have proven knowledge & experience with:
- 5+ years leasing experience, specifically retail leasing
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain trusted retailer relationships
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities in a dynamic market
- A collaborative, professional approach to internal and external stakeholder engagement
