An outstanding Contractor is searching for a high-performing Site Manager to add value, diversity and high-level project delivery to their company after securing a substantial project in Tauranga.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- Understand and implement overall project objectives alongside the PM
- Overall site management and coordination of works
- Enforce the program for construction and assist with documentation as per the contract requirements
- Identify and advise on areas of potential adjustment to the benefit of the program and budget
- Assist with training and guidance of more junior team on site including day to day management and encouragement of efficient activity
- Co-ordination of trades and materials
- Ensure that all quality control and health and safety is adhered to at all times
- Providing up to date information for the Construction and Project Manager on progress
- Facilitate continual development of processes and practices to improve the management system and safe, best practice environment
To qualify for the role, the candidate will have as follows:
- Trade Certificate qualification or similar
- Experience working across either commercial or residential projects
- Excellent communication skills
- A strength in structure/commercial works
- Be well versed in Health and Safety requirements and committed to running a safe site
- Have the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated with strong planning skills
- Able to review and approve shop drawings
- Complete comfort interfacing and managing all stakeholders including, contractors and consultancy partners
