With a significant amount of investment being injected into the region including the redevelopment of Tauranga City recently beginning and plenty of work in the pipeline until at least 2028, it’s an exciting time for the area and there has never been a better time to move there.  
  
The roles will involve assisting on delivering high quality services within assets including but not limited to, commercial, education, industrial, health and residential across the private and public sector. These roles are suited to an experienced construction professional who is both results orientated and an autonomous worker. The teams are efficient, focused individuals who take their work and careers seriously. They work with high energy and passion on every project in which they deliver. 
  
We have numerous active Project Manager roles across a range of our clients within the Bay of Plenty Region. With options of either securing a role allowing you to get onboard before Christmas or joining afterwards and giving yourself a fresh start for 2023. 
   
Responsibilities: 
  • Ensuring completion of any project in a timely manner and within the budgetary limits  
  • Managing resources in conjunction with Managers   
  • Maintaining, managing, and documenting all project reports and statements  
  • Facilitating team and client meetings effectively including holding status meetings regularly 
  • Keeping Directors informed of project progress and cost status  
  • Client management – effectively work with team and managers to ensure relevant communication with the client is done   
  • Understanding cost-to-completion projections and assisting in making decisions accordingly   
The ideal candidate will have: 
  • Relevant degree – i.e., Architecture, Construction management, Building Science, Engineering 
  • 4+ years’ experience working in a consultancy or client representative project management role 
  • Able to demonstrate project delivery in a variety of asset classes 
  • Project experience from inception to completion 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills dealing with the demands of the client while managing designers, and contractors on site 
  • A relationship builder – able to hold strong relationships with clients  
  • Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
