Reporting to the Head of Funds Management, the Asset Manager will take responsibility for multiple fund platforms, setting strategic business plans for all assets to maximise revenue, enhance value, and strengthen long‑term investment outcomes.

About You
We are seeking an experienced property professional with:
- 7+ years’ experience in asset management, in New Zealand or internationally
- Experience managing medical and/or office developments
- Prior work on the client side for a fund manager or investment vehicle
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Strong financial and analytical capability, particularly in Excel
- Experience in capital projects, refurbishments, or development initiatives
- Demonstrated commercial negotiation skills
- A passion for value creation, investor performance, and entrepreneurial thinking
- Ability to operate with autonomy
- Proven success in identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
Asset Management
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategic plans that drive sustainable performance across the asset portfolio
- Lead leasing strategies and manage external agents, facilities managers, accountants, and legal advisors
- Prepare and oversee income and expenditure budgets, including forecasting and performance management
- Participate in acquisition due diligence
- Identify opportunities to enhance value and mitigate risk
- Produce and present high‑quality reporting for internal teams and external investors
- Ensure capital and operational projects meet strategic objectives, budget limits, and delivery timelines
- Manage refurbishment, strengthening, repositioning, and other asset improvement projects
- Work independently to maximise project value and deliver strong financial outcomes
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, builders, and other specialists to ensure quality delivery
- Apply feasibility analysis and cashflow modelling to support decision‑making
- Report on acquisitions, project progress, and consultant performance
- Provide monthly updates to the Audit and Compliance Committee and independent boards on asset performance
- Provide quarterly fund reports to investors
