Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Projects

Right now, they are looking for a proven Senior Project Manager to take ownership of large-scale healthcare projects and for the right person, there’s the opportunity to step into a future healthcare sector lead role.
The role
You’ll be leading end-to-end delivery of significant healthcare projects, from early design through to handover. This isn’t just about managing the programme, it’s about steering outcomes, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and setting the standard for excellence in one of New Zealand’s most critical sectors.
You will be trusted with:
You’re a confident Senior Project Manager with a track record delivering projects from a consultancy or client-side in the commercial construction sector. Ideally you will have strong experience delivering large-scale healthcare projects. You’re someone who thrives in high-pressure environments, builds trust quickly with key stakeholders and external teams and isn’t afraid to challenge when it’s needed.

- Partnering with clients, consultants, contractors and senior health stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes
- Bringing leadership to complex programmes of work, chairing large-scale meetings and guiding decision-making
- Identifying risks and solving problems before they escalate
- Positioning yourself as a trusted adviser in the healthcare space, with clear scope to grow into a sector leadership role
You’re a confident Senior Project Manager with a track record delivering projects from a consultancy or client-side in the commercial construction sector. Ideally you will have strong experience delivering large-scale healthcare projects. You’re someone who thrives in high-pressure environments, builds trust quickly with key stakeholders and external teams and isn’t afraid to challenge when it’s needed.
We’re looking for:
- 10+ years’ experience delivering commercial construction projects from within a consultancy or client-side environment, including large-scale projects ($50m+)
- Healthcare project delivery experience in New Zealand is a must
- Deep knowledge of construction methodology, design and stakeholder engagement
- A natural leader who can bring teams together, drive accountability and deliver results
- Permanent resident or NZ citizen status
