The role:
- Lead and manage large-scale construction projects, drawing on the client’s rich expertise and innovation solutions to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with a diverse array of stakeholders, harnessing the client’s extensive network and industry relationships to foster collaboration and drive project success.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design to procurement and execution.
- Identify and mitigate risks, solve complex challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions utilising the client’s robust risk management frameworks.
- Foster a culture of safety, excellence, and collaboration among project team members.
- Relevant tertiary degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience and a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to handover, projects ideally $100m+.
- Able to demonstrate previous project management experience in NZ (and overseas), ideally from a client side or main contractor environment.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience.
- Competent in negotiation and client relationship management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with immense knowledge around delivering projects and managing risk.
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines.
