THE ROLE
This role has a real focus on public water infrastructure for key players in the Three Waters space and the successful candidate will be expected to provide:

THE ROLE
This role has a real focus on public water infrastructure for key players in the Three Waters space and the successful candidate will be expected to provide:
- Urgent operational support, ad hoc responsive problem solving and design guidance (lots of site presence, burst mains, slip repairs, etc.).
- Stormwater separations, upgrades, development projects etc for Healthy Waters.
- Water and Wastewater projects e.g., pipeline renewals, Water Treatment Plants (new and upgrades), pump stations, diversions, inspections, etc.
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have:
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage expectations and client relationships.
- Have pragmatic and logical problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Be technically solid and independent with a clear understanding of design principles.
- Have the ability and personality to lead a team and mentor more junior engineers, to be supportive and positive.
- Uphold a high standard of quality and dependability.
And on a day-to-day basis you will be expected to:
- Ensure successful delivery of their projects including overseeing engineers and drafts people where appropriate.
- Manage client relationships including scoping, quoting, and maintaining open communication.
- Prepare designs, undertake inspections, and respond to urgent site queries where needed.
- Support business development through engaging in professional development sessions and developing client relationships.
