They are currently looking for a Residential advisor to join this side of the business.
The Role
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Interview prospective customers to understand their lending needs.
- Negotiate with banks and lenders to secure best terms and conditions.
- Recommend lending strategies that will deliver the best outcome and assist clients though to settlement.
- Prepare and submit client applications as per New Zealand Banking guidelines and Responsible Lending Code.
- Stay continuously up to date with current market trends while maintaining lasting relationships with customers and lending institutions.
About You
In order to be successful in this role, you will likely have the following skills and attributes:
- 2+ years lending or advisory experience including level 5 loan and risk assessment qualifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills focused on building long lasting and trusting relationships with clients.
- A sound understanding of NZ Banks or lenders, lending criteria.
- A high level of financial literacy coupled with integrity and work ethic.
