This business delivers across light commercial and residential, comprising of a broad mix of housing typologies, including one-bedroom+ units, townhouses, stand-alone and terraced housing, and sub-division communities.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Contract administration.
- Tendering of sub-trades and materials.
- Measuring and take-offs.
- Procurement of subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Cost control, budget monitoring and reporting.
- Progress claims variations and payments.
- Processing, negotiation and agreement of final accounts.
- Managing relationships with project manager, clients, architects and other key stakeholders
- Working to keep the project on time and within the agreed budget.
- Working with our Quality Surveyor team to ensure construction costs and production are managed as efficiently as possible.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, standards and building codes.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience.
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- A strong track record in the NZ market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel and preferably Microsoft project.
- Sound knowledge of the residential construction industry.
- Excellent numeracy, verbal and writing skills.
- Strong organization skills and a proven ability in work in an efficient manner
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work in a team and negotiate win-win outcomes.
- A strong understanding of NZS3910 contracts.
- Existing right to work in New Zealand.
