A technical professional Consultancy are looking to hire an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor in Auckland to support the QS team on a wide range of projects including commercial, residential, education and institutional property owners and occupiers. This team is reliable, passionate, and focused on accurate, high-quality results.

Ideal background for this role would include: 
  • Relevant industry degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Have a good understanding of NZ construction methodology and local contracts - ideally 4-5yrs local experience 
  • Demonstrate the knowledge of NZS3910:2013 Conditions of Contract for Building and Civil Engineering Construction 
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel and Word
  • Ambitious and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Integrity with the ability to create and maintain trust
  • A positive attitude and proactive problem solver

This role will see you assisting with pre-contract Quantity Surveying including cost planning, value engineering and contract documentation. You will also get experience across the post contract progress valuation and cost negotiation. This is a hands on role within a busy team, looking to provide a stable platform for long term career opportunities.
