The role
Exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take the lead and be responsible for range of 3-4 projects while being office based. You will cover a wide range of responsibilities across stakeholder management, booking of sub-contractors and materials, contract variation, payment claims, document management and working closely with the QS team to provide top quality results.
This will be a crucial role in the team and have the opportunity to mentor junior staff. You will hit the ground running on an exciting pipeline of work that will give you a good challenge for 2022/2023.

The ideal candidate
- Relevant industry degree in Quantity Surveying
- Have a good understanding of NZ construction methodology and local contracts - ideally 3+ years local experience
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel and Word
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Integrity with the ability to create and maintain trust
- A positive attitude and proactive problem solver
