Assemble Recruitment has a career building opportunity for an intermediate to senior level Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator to join a contractor that has been working across the water & energy infrastructure space for over 30 years.
An ideal candidate would have circa five years’ experience pricing and managing financials on projects up to $30 million NZD, preferably with exposure to heavy civils, utilities and structures.

- Cost Estimation & Budgeting
- Tendering & Procurement
- Contract Administration
- Progress Claims & Valuations
- Cost Control & Reporting
- Risk Management
- Final Accounts & Close-Out
- Stakeholder Liaison
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying
- Previous experience working on water and energy infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to produce high quality reports
- A sound understanding of the NZ infrastructure industry with 4-5 post graduate years’ experience
- Some exposure to negotiations and client relationship building accompanied with a sound understanding of contract management
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and resilience in dealing with complex issues, and deploy sound problem-solving methodology
