On behalf of Opteon, a leading valuation business in Australasia, Assemble are recruiting a Project Manager - Service Delivery to join their team in Auckland. Opteon provides independent, market leading valuation and property advisory services with over 80 offices and 700+ staff, including more than 500 valuers.
This role sits within the Government and Advisory team and is focused on planning, managing, and delivering valuation service projects for external clients. You will lift operational performance through clear KPIs, robust governance, and the rollout of improved systems and processes. In this role you will:
- Lead the end to end delivery of valuation service projects in line with client requirements and business objectives
- Apply Agile and Waterfall methods as appropriate to scope and complexity
- Build project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk registers, and report on progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Establish governance, control, and reporting frameworks that track KPIs, milestones, and quality benchmarks
- Embed new systems and processes, run post-project reviews, and champion continuous improvement
- Coordinate across internal teams, clients, and vendors to manage expectations, issues, and change
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organisational standards, maintaining accurate documentation
- Tertiary qualification in business, project management, property, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience delivering client facing projects using Agile and Waterfall project management approaches as appropriate to project scope and complexity.
- Strong background in project management, business analysis, change management, or operational performance improvement
- Proven stakeholder management across executives, clients, and third-party vendors
- Excellent planning, organisation, and time management, with clear written and verbal communication
- Experience implementing governance and control frameworks
- PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or Scrum Master certification
- Experience in valuation services, property, or professional services
- Track record delivering process and systems change initiatives
