Job description

This business delivers across light commercial and residential, comprising a broad mix of housing typologies, including one-bedroom+ units, townhouses, stand-alone and terraced housing, and sub-division communities. These projects consist of purpose built housing facilities and a large freestanding housing community for a brighter future. 

The exciting part about this role is it will see you working very closely with the development team and being exposed to a variety of projects and responsibilities on the client side, which you wouldn't otherwise get experience in. You will have direct ownership and influence over your projects. 
  • Develop, manage, and maintain mutually beneficial, strategic, commercial relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage the successful delivery of various property development projects on behalf of the client 
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary development teams
  • Manage all project processes, procedures, and deliverables
  • Other duties as agreed between the parties from time to time.
Without limiting the above general duties, you may also at times have responsibility and exposure to the development management services as required for each respective project:
  • Development Brief - assist with the preparation of the development strategy and brief
  • Feasibility and return of investment analysis 
  • Consultant Procurement - manage the procurement of Consultants, including prepare RFP documents, proposal evaluation, negotiation, prepare and execute contract agreement
  • Design Management - manage consultants across all design stages, including coordinating consultant queries, chair meetings, prepare and circulate minutes, review deliverables
  • Local Authorities - manage the resource and building consent processes
  • Construction administration - manage the contract administration for the construction and closeout stages
  • Health & Safety - manage health & safety as the Client rep, including monitor and report on health & safety across all project stage, including reviewing safety in design, health & safety tender documents, contractor site safety plan and documentation, and closeout
  • Reporting - provide regular reporting at all stages of the project, across all aspects and disciplines of each project
