The Role
Due to internal growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager position within this leading consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team, due to the diverse range of projects they have been awarded in the Canterbury region. Your work will be highly rewarding and provide you with substantial challenges, adding a layer of excitement to your daily professional journey.

In this role, the focus will be on projects across new build, refurbishments, and more across the vertical space. Working closely with Senior Project Managers on complex assignments, you will also have the responsibility to independently lead your own portfolio of projects. From concept to completion, you'll oversee these projects, collaborating with a range of stakeholders to ensure they stay on track in terms of both time and budget. The role also provides ample opportunities for personal and professional growth, with mentorship from seasoned industry professionals.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3 + years of previous experience in project delivery
  • Relevant qualification in construction, building science or engineering 
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently, diligent and with an eye for detail
  • Experience in delivering projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Client facing experience and comfortable with running meetings.
  • Positively contribute to the internal team and seek to add value.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
