This company has grown into a diverse team of Project Management and Property Advisory specialists with extensive experience in all aspects of client-side project management and property advisory. From feasibilities to design management and procurement to delivery, they have the scope, scale, and skills to enhance projects and provide their team a wide range of options. 

With significant current and future investment being directed by both public and private sector clients in which this company partners with, they are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to join the team in Tauranga. This will be to assist, support and ensure successful delivery of projects, specifically within the wider Bay of Plenty region where considerable investment is being channeled. 
 
This role is based in Tauranga. 

About the role:

This position provides a great opportunity for a self-starter, driven Project Manager with a strategic mindset and open mindedness to learn. You will support the wider team and build on the continued success of this Consultancy, overseeing, advising, delivering, and directly managing a variety of clients and projects.

Their Tauranga office is looking to expand and grow their team. You will gain exposure across Tertiary, Education, Industrial, Commercial, public sector and residential. This is a close-knit, agile minded team with a local Director and senior management team for support and mentoring. 

The successful candidate may come from an Engineering, Site Management, Assistant PM, or Project Management background, with experience including but not limited to:
  • A relevant Tertiary qualification - i.e. Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Building Science 
  • 3+ years experience in a similar Project Management role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A self-starter, with a motivated attitude and willingness to learn and bring ideas to life 
  • The ability to support and oversee the timely and successful completion of projects including project establishment, design and construction phases
  • Manage relationships and stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • Assist to manage risk through both design and construction lifecycles 
  • Effectively facilitate team and client communication
  • Maintain, manage and document all project reports
  • Assist with procurement and NZS3910 contract management
  • Assist with future proofing the industry through sustainability and a zero-harm policy
