The Company:

An outstanding Contractor is searching for a high-performing Project Manager to add value, diversity and high-level project delivery to their company across multi-disciplinary projects ranging in value from $5m-$25m. 
  
They are a specialist delivering complex and innovative solutions across the project lifecycle and are highly recognised for their continued successful delivery of high-profile projects for a range of private and public sector clients across Auckland.
  
They are seeking a vibrant and experienced Project Manager to contribute to the continued success of their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute project work plans and monitor compliance with project budgets and documents
  • Ensuring design specifications are being met during the construction process
  • Understand cost-to-completion projections and make decisions accordingly
  • Effectively manage project risk through mitigation planning
  • Report on project progress and cost status
  • Monitor and report against the implemented health and safety plan
  • Attend design meetings and support design development co-ordination and decisions 
  • Ensure efficiency, quality and affordability across the design and installation of all essential systems
  • Oversee 3 to 4 projects at one time with a team of Site Managers and a QS reporting to you.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 4-6 years previous experience within the construction industry 
  • Relevant qualification relevant to the industry
  • Knowledge of NZ build methodology
  • Meticulous knowledge of the project life cycle 
  • Technical and detail focused 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
