Our Client:
Pallas Capital is one of Australia’s leading real estate debt and equity investment managers. The business was established in 2016 as a direct response to the lack of CRE debt availability for borrower’s requiring debt solutions up to $50 million+. They have successfully invested $1.5 billion since inception.

Pallas Capital has identified that the growing New Zealand real estate market requires servicing from non-bank lenders funded by HNW and institutional money with funding solutions across debt, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and ordinary equity. Pallas have recently opened an Auckland office with focus on distributing this capital in the sub $30 million space across New Zealand and are seeking to grow the team.

The Opportunity:
We are partnering with Pallas Capital to identify a Credit Analyst to join the team based in Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the foundation team in NZ and will be supported by an established Australian business and institutional grade capital.

The Role:
The purpose of role is to work with the Origination team to assess a variety of lending opportunities across pre-development, construction and vacant land. Being commercially minded, this role requires a holistic approach to assessing opportunities within Pallas Capital’s risk appetite, to ensure they meet the expectations of their investors.

You will report in to and work closely with the head of the NZ business, as well as crossing over with the established Sydney and Melbourne based team who provide both executive and technical support to the NZ business.

About You:
To be considered a strong candidate for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following;
  • Tertiary qualified in finance, business or a property related discipline
  • 2yrs + experience in property and/or construction lending with either a Bank or non-bank lender
  • Advanced financial modelling and report writing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A natural affinity for relationship building
