An opportunity presents itself for a junior/Intermediate Structural engineer to join one of the best respected structural/civil engineering consultancies in Auckland. Predominantly a structural engineering firm the successful candidate will get to use modern software/analysis tools(listed below) while working in a supportive and experienced team as part of a large and diverse structural engineering division. The successful candidate will work on an array of projects across the education, warehousing, high rise residential, government and industrial sectors for some of the countries best architects, property developers and businesses. New Zealand experience is a must and design, and communication skills are integral to this role.

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering Degree.
- Strong Design skills.
- 2 + years of New Zealand experience as a structural engineer.
- Understanding of New Zealand building codes.
- Able to undertake seismic assessments – ISA & DSA.
- Great communicator – both verbal and written.
- Professional experience using SPACE GASS software.
- Professional experience using ETABS software and Micro Scan.
