This Project Management role is with an astute, reputable and proud consultancy. In this role you will be supported and challenged in strategic and interesting projects including commercial, education and future potential advisory work, while being provided with support and autonomy to execute your own innovation and delivery style. 

The business focuses on and are open to many asset classes, based on the needs of their clients, including commercial, education, public sector, industrial, aged care, health, hotels, advisory and more. They deliver projects for key players in the market, and have strong existing relationships with some of the best clients nationwide. This role will provide balance between working with and shadowing Senior Project Manager's allowing for training and professional development in the industry, whilst also having the freedom to work autonomously and identify and execute responsibilities and opportunities as you see fit.

Responsibilities will include but not limited too:
  • Lead your own projects and work alongside Senior PM/Project Director on a healthy pipeline of work
  • Create and execute project plans and budgets
  • Oversea design ensuring specifications are met during construction
  • Manage cost projections and make decisions accordingly
  • Manage project risk through mitigation planning
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and agreed scope.
What you bring to the table:
  • Construction relevant degree or qualification
  • An understanding of the NZ construction industry with 4+ years experience 
  • Able to demonstrate project delivery in one or more construction sectors
  • Clear and articulate communication with ability to express expectations
  • Attend design meetings and support design development co-ordination and decisions
  • Ability to set, observe and re-evaluate project priorities frequently
  • A forward planner, who can demonstrate initiative and proactiveness
  • Monitor and report against the implemented health and safety plan
