A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in the Auckland region is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join their central Auckland team.

My client has an impressive track record spanning three decades in planning, surveying, and engineering services.

This role has emerged from continued growth and strong market activity, with these industry experts currently engaged in several major residential developments and infrastructure projects across Auckland.

With a history of successful project delivery for over 40 years, these market leaders have built an enviable reputation for excellence in residential subdivisions, commercial developments, and infrastructure projects across Auckland.

They work with a diverse range of stakeholders from private developers to local authorities, managing projects from initial concept through to completion.

Responsibilities:

The role focuses on developing technical skills in land development and infrastructure design across Auckland.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Contributing to major development project design work
  • Preparing detailed engineering drawings and documentation
  • Supporting senior engineers with project delivery
  • Conducting site investigations and assessments
  • Assisting with client presentations and meetings
  • Quality control of design documentation
  • Infrastructure design and planning support
  • Liaison with Auckland Council and local authorities
  • Technical report writing and preparation
Requirements:
  • Tertiary engineering qualification (BE Civil or equivalent)
  • 3-6 years experience in civil engineering, preferably in land development
  • Experience with Auckland land development projects (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D or 12D 
  • Working towards CPEng registration or eager to commence
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Understanding of NZ engineering standards and practices
  • Enthusiasm for learning and professional development
  • Full driver's licence
