The Role

In this role, you’ll be focused on infrastructure projects - the kind that forms the backbone of a community. You’ll take ownership of this space, managing projects from concept through to completion while working closely with a range of stakeholders to ensure delivery on time and within budget. This role will see you working across council-led projects throughout Otago, primarily within the three waters sector. To succeed, you’ll need proven experience in water supply, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years + of previous experience as a Civil Engineer or Project Manager
- Relevant qualification in engineering, construction or building science
- Highly motivated, able to work independently, diligent and with an eye for detail.
- Experience in delivering a range of infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Experience in a consultancy environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Client facing experience and comfortable with running meetings.
- Positively contribute to the internal team and seek to add value.
- Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
