Foreman - Developer/Builder

A really exciting opportunity to work for a property development company with projects in Wellington and Auckland, is looking for a Site Foreman based out of their central Auckland office.

This is a fascinating role for the fact that it offers an opportunity to work with a seriously successful developer but moreover it provides an opportunity for an experienced residential and commercial foreman looking for that next step to ply their trade with a property development business.

You’ll work on a range of residential/commercial projects in Auckland with the majority of the work in the Auckland central area.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Oversite and coordination of works including site set up.
• Managing and undertaking site establishment.
• Day to day management of construction team members on site.
• Working with the Site Manager on  the Schedule to Programme.
• Co-ordination of trades and materials.
• Ensure that all quality control and health and safety is adhered to at all times.
• Providing up to date information for the Construction and Project Manager on progress. 
• Managing Quality Assurance and Health & Safety. 

To qualify for the role, the candidate will have as follows: 

• Trade Certificate qualification or similar.
• Experience working across either commercial or residential projects. 
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be well versed in Health and Safety requirements and committed to running a safe site.
• Have the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated with strong planning skills.
• Complete comfort interfacing and managing all stakeholders including, contractors and consultancy partners.
