Key Accountabilities:
- Leadership of large-scale residential developments across all stages through to completion.
- Ownership and management of feasibilities and all project costs to achieve financial targets.
- Manage and empower a highly skilled internal team and external project partners.
- Manage external project teams through the design and consenting stages to drive the achievement of high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, legal, and financial stakeholders to achieve sales, financial, programme and contractual requirements.
- Manage and coordinate with the commercial team through the procurement of Consultant and Construction contracts.
- Manage and oversee developments throughout the construction stages to settlement.
- Prepare timely and accurate informal and formal reports to key development stakeholders.
Further essential skills and attributes include:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and 15+ years development management experience
- Strong track record of medium-to-large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.
- Sound ability to take ownership and accountability in leading large-scale developments.
- Innate commercial awareness and ability to accurately manage large budgets and contracts.
- Well-rounded skills to proactively plan and manage developments across all stages from initial feasibility, through resource consent, to design, procurement, construction, and completion.
- Team player with a natural leadership quality to both empower and collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
