In this role, you will have the autonomy to lead and manage the project while building strong working relationships with local councils, consultants, and iwi. You will bring your expertise in civil land development and construction to ensure the successful delivery of this exciting development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the development, from inception to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local councils, iwi, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the design, procurement, and tendering processes.
- Manage the consenting process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Deliver high-quality projects that meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Prepare and update feasibilities, cash flow forecasts, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with consultants and contractors to ensure project success.
- Candidates with a background in development management or those looking to transition from a client-side or consultant PM role are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in civil land development and vertical construction.
- Strong understanding of the development lifecycle, including planning, design, and construction phases.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
- Experience working with iwi and local councils is highly desirable.
