The Role
The Project Manager/Senior Project Manager will contribute to both the management and delivery of projects and the development of strategic, evidence-based solutions through the consultancy’s advisory function. The position spans the full asset lifecycle, from early-stage investment analysis and business case development through to delivery, operational performance, and benefits realisation.

The Role
The Project Manager/Senior Project Manager will contribute to both the management and delivery of projects and the development of strategic, evidence-based solutions through the consultancy’s advisory function. The position spans the full asset lifecycle, from early-stage investment analysis and business case development through to delivery, operational performance, and benefits realisation.
Project work in the Hamilton region includes a diverse client base across:
- Central and local government (education, justice, and council projects)
- Universities and tertiary education providers
- Health and community infrastructure
- Industrial and private sector developments
- Lead and deliver projects from inception through to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide strategic advice and support to clients on capital investment, business case development, and asset planning.
- Assess project and investment risks, including strategic, financial, delivery, and ownership considerations.
- Prepare, review, and deliver robust business cases and investment logic mapping.
- Represent client interests across design, procurement, and delivery phases.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, providing trusted, objective advice.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the team by mentoring junior staff and supporting collaboration across disciplines.
- Proven experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects within a consultancy, client-side, or public-sector environment.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience or interest in capital advisory, business case development, or asset strategy.
- Excellent analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate confidently in client-facing roles and manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, construction, or property is preferred.
