With the pipeline cranking up and a commitment to delivering these developments for their residents, they are looking to hire a Project Manager who will be responsible for exceptional project delivery outcomes, representing the client on projects and providing internal design direction to their in-house teams and project management oversight of allocated projects to ensure these meet the strategic intentions of the business. 

Key deliverables will include:
  • To lead the delivery of development projects to ensure that they are completed within the agreed time frame and budgets, performance and risk standards
  • Motivate and drive the performance of the design team, contractors and suppliers for successful project outcomes 
  • Provide project leadership in managing risk and resolving project issues 
  • Project planning and coordination of resources to ensure optimal project programming 
  • Assist with the preparation and completion of relevant agreements and contracts
  • Maintain project records and assist with pre-completion quality review
  • Provide leadership in the area of Health & Safety to promote a zero-harm workplace 
  • Provide reports on contractors’ performance to assist in future trade partner selections 

Professional Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years experience in the industry
  • Tertiary qualification in Property or Construction related discipline
  • Previous experience in a client-facing, client liaison role is desired 
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy 
  • Strong customer relations focus and experience in managing a range of stakeholders 
  • Commercial acumen with excellent communication skills
  • Responsibility for own outcomes and performance.
  • Accountable for improving the success of the business 
  • High level of computer literacy - understanding of MS Projects and Excel
  • Commitment to excellence in Health & Safety 
  • Understanding of construction/fit out background a definite advantage
  • Ability to multi task and retain track of several action points in a fast- paced environment
