The role
A challenging and rewarding senior opportunity within the business to lead and manage their Auckland Planning team. The team works with a diverse group of clients across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, community and infrastructure projects.
You will be reporting directly into the Planning Manager and the purpose of this role will be for you to provide technical leadership while mentoring and guiding the team to deliver successful projects. You will drive a business development strategy for the team while having the support of senior management. Also you will be covering proposal preparation, job delivery, work planning and financial management.
You will have lots of autonomy and in this senior role you will have the support of senior management.

The role

What the right candidate will look like
- 8+ yrs New Zealand Planning experience
- A local to the region with an established professional network
- Natural leadership capabilities possessing honesty and integrity
- Excellent attention to detail and able to absorb a sea of information
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams of talented
professionals - Proven track record in the consulting environment.
- Excellent at building relationships.
