The role
The Associate Director's role will be to ensure the successful delivery of project management services, spanning from business development to project completion. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the growth and advancement of the company while providing guidance and support to junior team members.

This is a diverse role that allows you the opportunity to take on various responsibilities. You will have a strong focus on client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will also be involved in the operational aspects of the business, contributing to its strategic direction and vision. Collaborating closely with the senior leadership team with risk management, reporting, financial analysis, and other business-related matters. This role will provide you with the chance to lead by example and demonstrate effective leadership within a collaborative team environment.

You will have the chance to make an immediate impact by taking the lead on two substantial projects, each valued around $50M and $150M, with a dedicated and supportive team backing you up!

Qualifications and Skills:
  • A construction-related degree or qualification
  • A deep understanding of the New Zealand construction industry
  • A proven track record in project delivery within one or more construction sectors
  • The ability to build good working relationships
  • Experienced in business development
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to express expectations clearly
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to set, monitor, and adapt project priorities effectively
  • Forward-thinking and proactive, with a natural ability to plan and strategize
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
