The Role:

As an Assistant Project Manager you will work closely with and support the Senior Project Managers with maintaining client relationships and successful project outcomes. You will support Project Managers on a range of high-profile, private and public sector projects that are adding value to Auckland, while working alongside respected industry professionals.

You will assist with maintaining, managing and documenting project reports and statements, keeping clients informed of project progress and cost status helping to ensure projects are achieved within scope and budget. This role will be working across built form, delivering a range of vertical build developments. 

Skills and Experience: 
  • 2+ years construction experience 
  • Industry recognised degree - Construction management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, Architecture, etc
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 
  • Building code knowledge and local construction methodologies 
  • Adaptable, reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • A good multi-tasker, ability to identify priorities 
  • Previous construction or client side delivery experience, working to programmes and assisting with managing risk
