Job description

A leading property development business with a number of current developments and future pipeline are looking to bring on board an individual who is passionate about getting into development management.

You will have the support and mentorship of an experienced development team from all different backgrounds, and the wider team to ensure you are given every opportunity to learn the development process. As the majority of this role is learning while doing, you will also be utilizing your land development experience for their master planned community developments. 

Key Accountabilities:
  • Assist the Development Managers with managing a range of property development projects.
  • You will assist and learn on a range of responsibilities that include: market research, planning, feasibility, financial modelling & scoping of opportunities.
  • Play a lead role in the writing of consent applications.
  • Providing robust technical advice for projects
  • Help maintain relationships that build a positive external perception of the business.
  • Under the supervision of the Development Manager/s, assist in developing detailed project strategies and plans for development projects.
  • Be involved in the selection of project teams of consultants and contractors which comply with company policy and objectives to ensure projects are procured on time, and within budget.
  • Help to produce high quality projects that maximise the company’s return on investment.
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity the ideal candidate will come from a engineering, planning or project management background with between 3 – 5 years and have experience in land development. 

You will also have:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Competence in negotiation and client relationship management.
  • Passionate about property, development and eager to learn. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to produce high quality reports and presentations
