The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Oyster as the Asset Manager of their Commercial portfolio. As an experienced asset manager, you’ll provide strategic direction for the portfolio, ensuring value is enhanced and any downsides mitigated to provide stable and well managed property investments. As a proven people leader, you value seeing growth in your team and you’re willing to provide your team of Property Managers (based in both Auckland and Wellington) access to your technical property expertise and invest in their development. You’ll be well versed in developing and delivering on various Business Plans, as well as being financially savvy, and setting and delivering on annual property budgets. You’ll be adept at building exceptional relationships with tenants and leasing agents as well as partnering with their internal Facilities Management team so that business performance is well-supported.
About You
In addition to 7+ years’ commercial asset management experience, you’re a proven people leader and skilled at building stakeholder rapport. You have strong commercial and financial acumen, exceptional negotiating skills, and advanced Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) capability. You’re passionate about the property industry, have a continuous improvement mindset and a strong Health and Safety focus.
