About the Role:
The primary function of this role is to develop, set and lead the national property strategy and provide strategic advice to the business on how to manage my clients very diverse property portfolio.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the national property strategy including how to improve the quality of the commercial focused assets, consolidation and disposal of underutilised assets, implementation for the new property management database software, and management of external suppliers.
My client a public sector business that is seeking to manage and consolidate its assets nationally and requires an experience property professional to lead out this transformation. This role can be based in Christchurch, Wellington, or Hamilton.
The ideal candidate will:
- Extensive experience in setting and managing strategic asset management plans across commercial assets and ideally have exposure to public sector property portfolios.
- At least 5 years of asset or property management of a commercially focused portfolio.
- A bachelor’s degree level qualification.
- A passion for setting strategies and transformation.
- Flexible working practices.
- Can be based in Christchurch, Wellington, or Hamilton.
