Our client has an immediate need for an experienced and technically sound Senior Project Manager to join the team. This will be to ensure successful delivery of projects, specifically within the Wellington region where considerable investment is being channeled. The role will be based in their Wellington office.

As Senior Project Manager, you will:
  • Oversee the timely and successful completion of projects, including the project establishment, design and construction phases
  • Manage relationships and stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • manage risk through both design and construction lifecycles
  • Effectively facilitate team and client communication
  • Maintain, manage and document all project reports
  • Manage procurement and NZS3910 contracts
  • Motivate and drive the performance of team members, consultants and contractors through a safe and results-focused manner
  • Assist with future proofing the industry through sustainability and a zero-harm policy
  • Mentor any direct reports
The ideal experience for this role will include a relevant tertiary education in the industry which could include anything from architecture to construction and engineering, 7+ years experience, the ability to interact with clients and a passionate and motivated attitude.

Working with a small, close-knit team and Regional Manager, the position of Senior Project Manager will oversee, advise, deliver, streamline and directly manage a variety clients and projects. The company has a growing list of excellent clients, with established portfolios and repeat business across a wide range of industry sectors. The team is drawing from these contacts and experience to augment the local Wellington office experience and grow the business.
