Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties, including cost planning, preparation of bills of quantities, cost control, and valuation of work.
- Work closely with clients and project teams to ensure the highest quality of service and advice.
- Support the Senior QS in project management and consultancy tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Engage in continuous learning and development under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field, recognised in New Zealand. MRICS or NZIQS would be advantageous.
- A minimum of two years of experience in Quantity Surveying, demonstrating a strong foundation in QS principles and practices.
- A keen learner with the ambition to grow within a pure QS consultancy environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in dealing with complex issues, and deploys sound problem solving methodology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
