An established and well‑respected property development group is seeking a motivated Junior/Associate Development Manager to join its growing team. This is a rare opportunity for an aspiring development professional to step into a hands-on role with exposure across the full development lifecycle.
You will work closely with senior leaders, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple development projects (commercial, residential, retail, mixed-use), contributing to outcomes across feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and settlement.

You will work closely with senior leaders, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple development projects (commercial, residential, retail, mixed-use), contributing to outcomes across feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and settlement.
In this role, you will support and contribute to:
Project Management & Coordination
- Assisting in the successful delivery of assigned property developments across time, cost and quality.
- Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams including consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Supporting project reporting, risk tracking, programme updates, and general administration across development stages.
- Assisting with feasibility modelling, budget updates, cashflow tracking, and cost reviews in collaboration with internal analysts.
- Helping prepare commercial documentation, procurement packages, and project briefs.
- Supporting design coordination, consultant queries, and document control across all design stages.
- Assisting with resource and building consent processes, liaising with councils and community stakeholders as required.
- Assisting with consultant and contractor procurement processes.
- Supporting construction administration, site coordination, documentation management, and closeout processes.
- Maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders including owners, funders, purchasers, agents, and consultant partners.
- Ideally has 1–3 years’ experience in property development with additional epxerience in construction, project management, planning, architecture, or a related discipline.
- Is commercially minded, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicates confidently and builds strong relationships.
- Is eager to learn and develop under highly experienced Development Managers.
- Brings initiative, curiosity, and a genuine interest in the full development lifecycle.
