An exciting opportunity to work for a new building company that is providing design, manufacture and assembly of wall, floor and roof components prefabricated in the residential space. The business is needing construction expertise and looking to hire a Project Manager to be based in their office and factory in South Auckland.
This is an important hire as the role will require cradle-to-grave project management expertise from dealing with clients, design, consenting through to production and assembly on site, and the successful handover to
the client.

Key Accountabilities
- Being the go to construction expert working alongside the GM on the management of the project teams.
- Liaise with the Design Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Assembly Manager to ensure all work being met for the client.
- Managing the project assembly programme and that all contractors and sub-contractors are working to timeframes set.
- Ensuring design specifications are being met during the assembly process.
- Establish Project management documentation, including scope of works, deliverables, schedules and works structures to support project delivery.
- Helping towards building key relationships with developers, home builders, local authorities, consultants, contractors and with internal team members.
You will also have:
- A relevant qualification in either trade, engineering, construction or quantity surveying.
- A strong understanding and knowledge of NZ legislation and contracts.
- Strong leadership and competent in negotiation and client relationship building.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to produce high quality reports.
- A current full driver’s license.
