Job description

We are partnered with a South Island owned and operated civil contractor looking for a Project Manager to lead their Major Projects across the Otago Region including: Alexandra, Cromwell, & Queenstown.

The role will cover projects across large scale earthworks, 3 waters/ drainage, roading, infrastructure, etc.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and driven and is experienced in successfully delivering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and oversee projects from initiation to completion. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate and create strong relationships with all stakeholders – clients, subcontractors, and internal personal for seamless project delivery.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, NZ 3910, and environmental regulations.
Provide clear and concise progress reports to stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience delivering civil projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Focus to Health and Safety and Quality.
Shows initiative, motivation, and has a drive to succeed.
