As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring completion of any project in a timely manner and within the budgetary limits
- Managing resources in conjunction with team and suppliers
- Maintaining, managing and documenting all project reports and statements
- Facilitating team and client meetings effectively including holding status meetings regularly
- Keeping Directors informed of project progress and cost status
- Client management – effectively work with team and managers to ensure relevant communication with the client is done
- Understanding cost-to-completion projections and assisting in making decisions accordingly
The ideal background would include:
- Degree qualified - Architecture, Construction management, Building Science
- 6+ years experience working in a consultancy or client representative project management role
- Able to demonstrate project delivery in a variety of asset classes
- Project experience from inception to completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills dealing with the demands of the client while managing designers, and contractors on site
- A relationship builder – able to hold strong relationships with clients
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
