About the role:
They are seeking a Project Engineer with proven experience leading the delivery of essential infrastructure projects, including sub stations, solar farms, pump stations, treatment plants, and water mains.
The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial and contractual awareness, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a track record of creating and managing programmes, methodology statements, budgets, and leading teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and to specification.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical aspects of projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Create methodology statement
  • Review and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Track project progress, budgets, and timelines
  • Assist with procurement and subcontractor management
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and risks
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation
  • Provide on-site technical support as needed
  • Contribute to process and quality improvements
What we’re looking for:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience working on water and energy infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency with relevant software
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects forward
  • NZ work rights are essential
