The Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior Project Manager / 3 Waters Sector Lead, driven by a strong and growing pipeline of work across the Central Otago region through 2026 and beyond.

You’ll be working across a broad range of infrastructure projects with both Council and private land development clients, typically ranging from $15m–$80m, with new projects coming through the door regularly.

This is a senior leadership role within the team. You’ll be responsible for leading and delivering projects as the senior client-facing PM, while also having the opportunity to mentor, support, and grow your own team. You’ll be stepping into an already high-performing group, they’re looking for a leader who can provide guidance, mentorship, and structure to support the continued successful delivery of projects.

The work is challenging, varied, and highly rewarding, perfect for someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and being trusted to lead.

About You
  • 8+ years’ experience delivering projects end-to-end
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Strong experience in a consultancy environment
  • Proven client-facing capability and confidence running meetings
  • Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
  • A proactive, motivated approach with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
  • A genuine desire to mentor others and positively contribute to team culture
